Alconbury; An English Country Garden

I was born in England, and we lived in several different villages in my early childhood.  The most memorable was a village called 'Alconbury'.  We lived in a gorgeous thatched roof  Manor Cottage.  My Mother grew the most stunning flower garden in the courtyard.  The cottage, built in the 1700's, has unfortunately been torn down, but my memories of this beautiful village, and the garden, remain vivid.
