Secret Convent
As women, in the Christian world, we have been separated from God. Only Nuns and women devoted to the church are supposedly linked with God and spirituality. The rest of us are regarded as lesser beings because we experience the sensual side of our nature. I strive in my art to negate these absurd ideas. The sensual side of a woman's nature cannot be altered or eradicated simply by donning a piece of fabric.
